Location: Albany, Oregon

We gathered all our bits of luggage and packed 'Shimmy' today--it felt so good to be in my old car with all her squeaks.  The drive up the west coast is refreshing with its mountain ranges, forests and open fields.  When we were passing through Albany, Oregon we started noticing that it looked like Narnia!  The fog has been freezing and leaving all of the trees and plants crystalized in white. We loved it and had to stop and take our photo of the day! 

We traveled on and met up with my sister Heather and her family for dinner and then ended up in Portland.
